Hello.

We’ve noticed you have currently made one of our mixes available online.

You post as a music fan, a person that wants to spread the word to people around the globe who have yet to experience that which you love so much. However, you do this by posting up links to full CDs from the very artists and labels that give you this unique pleasure in the first place. Even if you don't encode and distribute these releases yourself, by linking and promoting these illegal uploads you bite the very hands of the people diligently trying to entertain, comfort and educate you. Small labels and lesser known artists who put their life and soul into releasing music for you and others like you.

With the vinyl market virtually dead and small record labels disappearing faster than the polar ice caps, all we have left is the compact disc and digital download sales. Putting up direct links to our music means less of those sales. Simple as that. Surely you must realise that your actions are as contradictory as an animal lover shooting endangered creatures for sport. Removal of this link would be appreciated.

I leave you with this final thought. Once all the music is gone, what will you blog about?
